Congratulations to Our JLPT Passers!
CONGRATULATIONS to MELVIN Toston TORREGOSA and JUNREY Macalam VERULA for passing N3 and N4 levels, respectively, of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT), taken in December 2024 in Kobe, Japan. MAY THIS EXCELLENT RESULT BE JUST THE BEGINNING OF MORE SPECTACULAR ACHIEVEMENTS IN YOUR LIFE! CONGRATULATIONS ON PASSING YOUR EXAMS WITH FLYING COLORS! YOU INDEED FILL OUR HEARTS WITH PRIDE AND JOY. WELL DONE! The JLPT consists of five levels; Level 1, the highest or most difficult. Level N3 signifies intermediate level of Japanese proficiency, indicating that one can understand everyday Japanese and some more complex language used in various contexts. Many companies in Japan and those that deal with Japanese clients or markets prefer candidates with N3 certification. It demonstrates a reasonable and moderate level of language ability. The N3 certification can enhance job prospects. For those looking to study in Japan, many universities and language schools require at least N3 proficiency for admission into certain programs. Passing the N3 opens doors to higher education in Japan. To pass the N3 level involves not just language skills but also cultural knowledge. N4 gauges one’s understanding of basic Japanese. There are deeper Japanese words and more complex kanji (Chinese characters). In reading, there are short passages about typical daily topics. For the listening part, one encounters longer conversations than in N5, but are still spoken slowly. Melvin hails from Cabatuan, Danao, while Junrey is from Sitio Fatima, Bangwalog, Duero. They both majored in civil engineering at BIT IC Tagbilaran. Melvin was among the five of the Batch 1 Student Interns in Japan (2020) , and Junrey, among the ten in the Batch 4 (2024). Melvin has since been absorbed by the host company in Japan. Thank you to the O-Ken Group and their wonderful people for supporting our interns in their journey in Japan. おめでとうございます。 Keep GOIng BEYOND! #NurturingDreams #TransformingLives
